Margarita Time!
March 16, 2008
It’s the weekend for me and that means margarita time. I love margaritas. I like them on the rocks and I like good tequila in them, not the cheap stuff! We had a few of them tonight and watched the first two Spiderman movies and will watch the third one tomorrow since there is nothing on television to watch. I did a little scrapping this week. I finished my Maya Road Purse album finally!!!!!!!!!!!!! I also finished my Bo Bunny Word Book (well almost, I had to get more photos printed because I did not have enough but the page is ready for me to just add it). So technically I am done. I have to take photos of all those pages in each album so I’ll have them posted later on in the week. My coworker at work had a b’day this week so I put her gift in the gift bag from my spring projects posted earlier. She also got a matching card. She loved it. She wanted to know how I did everything. I love when my handmade stuff is appreciated.
I was searching today for weekend scrapbook retreats. I think I am going to take the plunge and go away for a whole weekend to one of these. Maybe I’ll see if my mom and sis want to tag along. They just started to scrap and are not “into” it like I am so I don’t know if they want to spend a whole weekend. I’ll see. One thing I found out while I was looking is that there are a lot of retreats. A lot of B&B’s seem to be targeting the scrapbook community to make up for their slow season (winter). Because we crop indoors, we don’t seem to care about season. In the summer when the lakeside/golf resort business is in full swing, some B&B’s are not open to scrappers. I thought that was interesting. Now don’t get me wrong, we have places that cater exclusively to scrappers and are open for us all year round. I just thought it was interesting.
I am supposed to go to dinner with my girlfriend tomorrow for a belated (very) birthday celebration. I am going to stop at Archivers on the way and use my coupon. I don’t know on what though, I really do not need anything. I do hope they have some of the new Basic Grey or Fancy Pants though.
I did receive my new AC metallic chipboard from QVC that was waitlisted and I love it. You will see it in my mini albums once I get them posted.
Well, that’s all the scrap related news I have today.
Go scrap something!
Tammy
