Weekend is over

Weekends go so fast, I can’t believe it is over. I had a great scrappy weekend though. I went to Archiver’s to crop yesterday with a few Peas from Two Peas in a Bucket message board where I hang out a lot. I amazingly got a lot done. I was there from 1045a until 330p and got six layouts done completely (I just had to print journaling for one when I got home). I also reprinted some photos on their photo printer and croped some photos for a mini album. So I think it was productive. So their was a juicy thread going on over at 2 Peas today regarding children at crops. I love this subject as there are passionate people on both sides of the argument and it makes for a very good discussion. I personally do not ever want kids at any crop when I am cropping but unfortunately I do not own the stores. My son is a teenager and has not needed to tag along with me in a long time so I am used to having “me time”. I go to crops so he and my hubby can have “male bonding” time (sports) and I am not in their way. They love the time I am away and I love my time too. When we go to a weekend retreat I drink wine, talk about adult stuff, and relax. Even if kids are well behaved, I want to know that something I may say will not be offensive and I don’t want to have to worry about that, its my time. So, even though the other side has very strong arguments for, I would prefer to scrap with adults only.

So I scrapped all my birthday pics even the one with the big numbers “42″. I made two cards today for two birthdays coming up and I did my first paper piecing. It was a cupcake I downloaded for my Silohuette. I’ll post it hopefully on a card after I get some photos.
